Back in High-School and even now at the University of Wisconsin Madison, I am identified as the try-hard. I am known as the man who will go above and beyond to reach and exceed the expected bar. My work ethic show alone how driven I am to achieve my goals professionally and personally. I am open to new ideas, concepts and strategies. I find the wonders of the ever expanding universe the most fascinating, however, and have devoted my life to learning about the mysteries beyond Earth's Atmosphere. Along the way of chasing my beloved addiction of curiosity, I have picked up many useful and some even rare traits that you will find in a single man. I believe in progress and efficiency, in quality and accuracy, in observing and learning, but most of all I believe that I can benefit you by joining your program. As a student just one year away from getting his bachelors degree in Astrophysics, I believe that I still have a lot to show the world and a lot more to prove.
I am the sort of man that contains a mixture of his own hobbies. For instance, as a child I loved to build. I started out building and engineering with (LEGOS). I eventually grew out of LEGOS and advanced to erector sets. Here is where I developed an intuition of gear systems, basic physics concepts, and even power applications such as electric motors and electric steam turbines. Now I find that I am able to apply all that I have learned, along with some computer programming, robotics, and more developed skills to design, engineer, and build whatever I so desire, given my the budgeting system that I have credited for myself.
Two more hobbies that I have attained are slightly more for relaxation. One is the ability that I have aquired to play the drums. I don't consider this as much of a talent as it is a skill that I have taught myself. I fall to playing the drums as it is a escape to relaxation. It may seem useless and irrelevant to most, but I keep it as a reminder that I am capable of learning and perfecting new things. The second is the hobby of driving a four-wheeler. This most likely comes off as childish, but Ihave spent a vary great portion of my life driving a four-wheeler or some kind of fast vehicle. Reaching high velocities, taking fast turns, lifting off the grounds at times, and even making quick responses to certain situations to avoid accidents, I find that I am not afraid of taking risks. There has always been nothing more peaceful to me than going faster than everything else around me.
My last hobby has to do with my physical health. I enjoy exercising, eating healthy, and staying active. I have made it a personal belief that if I am to maintain a proficient professional carreer I must have a profiecient body. I lift nearly every other day for two to three hours at a time. I eat three and sometimes even four meals a day, and run often to burn off fat. I also think that having this hobby I am able to push my limits. Whether it's physical or mental its a my ambition to push myself consistantly.
