I am a very driven individual who exhibits strengths in many areas. I have years of experience managing people and working independently. I am very adaptable in any situation. In many different career assignments it has been left up to me to create or revise programs from the bottom up and each time the outcome was a success.
My management experience has given me the knowledge and confidence to be a flexible but strong leader. I have many years experience in Guest Service which has given me opportunities to build on my people skills. I have experience in working in stressful situations and pride myself in keeping stressful situations calm and professional. I am capable of meeting deadlines and am a great problem solver.
I am a Site Program Coordinator where I design and implement activities five days a week for Senior's that reside at Jackson Hills apartments. I work with residents who are both Mentally and Physically disabled and I provide programs to aide them in improving their quality of life which includes developing specific activities to fit their everyday needs as a group and individually.
I designed and implemented an activity program three days a week for all the children that reside on property. In this activity program I help all them complete their homework and have created fun and educational activities for them to do. Each one of them have different learning capabilities and this has been a great learning experience for me.
I volunteer and coordinate to bring food programs to the Families and Seniors that live at Jackson Hills. I also help with their emotional well being and socialization skills by putting on property wide functions such as parties, holiday gatherings, which includes gift giving during Christmas for all the children that reside at Jackson Hills. I also put on bbq's, safety presentations, healthcare presentations, and bring them knowledge on different subjects tailored to their needs by providing them with a resource guide detailing services in our County that is available. I also work one on one with residents to make sure they are applying for all resources that they qualify for.
This past year I also temporarily taken over the Property Management position while the previous Property Manager went on a leave of absence and then resigned. I worked independently for the majority of 2015 doing Property Management and Activity Coordinator.
Players Club-I overseen the daily operations for the Players Club Department. I had 35+ employees to manage and maintained scheduling and payroll for them. Handled administrative duties. I was responsible for the Players Club Job Duty Training and the Box Office Sales Training of each employee in the department and other Departments keeping them aware of the Players Club functions. I put in place a Players Club Training Manual and I implemented and revised a Policy and Procedure Manual. I was responsible for making each team member aware of all the upcoming and changing promotions and events. I counseled team members as needed for professional improvement. I ran weekly and monthly reports for the Players Club. I created and maintained Players accounts and built professional relationships with players giving them the best Guest Service.
Busing Coordinator-I completely revised the Busing Program. Started out with bringing in 3-4 buses on a daily basis to 15-20 buses.Maintained professional business relationship with Tour Bus Companies. Checked and kept track to make sure each scheduled Tour Bus Company had updated Certificate of Liability Insurance and PUC's. Track the gaming for each passenger on each bus. Created and Implemented all Promotions and Incentives for the Busing Passengers. Figured each individual Bus Companies commission and submitted all the commission statements to accounting for payment. Ran all necessary Busing Reports on a weekly and monthly basis, including figuring the profit loss statements. Created spreadsheets reflecting data from profit loss and year to date profit loss on a monthly basis. Forwarding all spreadsheets and reports along with having weekly meetings on our progress to the companies CEO and VP's keeping them informed. Handled all Busing Reservations, scheduling, special Tours, and fielded all complaints in a professional way.
I provided Personal Care for Residents. I assisted in medication dispensing multiple times a day and logging and keeping track for medical records. Assess and evaluated all personal care needs. Communicated with family members regarding residents personal care needs. Scheduled and assisted in taking Residents to Doctor appointments. Made sure residents hygiene and daily needs were met.
I coordinated a monthly calendar for all residents keeping them active. I made sure all residents activity level and needs were being met. Supervised all activity personnel. Corresponded with family members and kept them updated on their loved ones activities. I coordinated special events and field trips in and outside of the County for Groups of Residents. I also keep a current certification in Pediatric and Adult CPR, AED, and First Aide.
On my own through a previous employer (Jackson Rancheria Casino) i took a handful of Leadership Development Classes that they had offered.
