Began my sales career at NI at a low level in the inside sales department. I had great success in every facet of this position and enjoyed it very much. At the time I was promoted out of this department, I had reached Senior III level. This is the highest level within the Inside Sales Group.
I was promoted from a territory sales representative to a newly created vertical, market based sales position. I was a natural fit for this spot since I had gained a great deal of specific product knowledge during my time as a territory representative. I developed new sales all over North America specific to the machine vision/scientific imaging market. As a result of my success in this new vertical model of sales, NI now has many vertical salespeople in what was a completely geographic territory based sales department.
I am one of three sales people at Graftek. I have grown my sales each year with the company while gaining an in-depth technical knowledge of application based machine vision solutions. I uncover new business and opportunities and perform both application based sales as well as account based sales. I have become quite skilled at the latter and have a keen ability to show potential customers the benefits and value proposition of my platform.As of last year, I have exceeded $1M in sales.
