American Access Care\ Fresenius Vascular Care \ Azura Vascular Care – Malvern, PA
  • Coordinates and oversees yearly security risk assessment and phishing test done by 3rd party vendors.
  • Review any findings and recommendations with the vendor and IT leadership team to develop a remediation plan.
  • Manages the yearly SOX testing for the IT Department and performs testing for all controls.
  • Report deficiencies to management and discuss remediation.
  • Assisted the FMC Privacy team with the two-year corrective action plan (CAP) for Azura that was a result from an investigation initiated by the Office of Civil Rights (OCR).
  • This included working with FMC Privacy team and TrustArc, to preform onsite risk analysis, identifying all devices that maintain or access ePHI and provide encryption evidence, and updated HIPAA training for Azura.
  • Responsible for managing the HIPAA risk assessments for all Azura 65 + facilities using the TrustArc tool and following up on any remediation.
  • Liaison between FMC ISO and Azura IT leadership to assist with the HITRUST risk assessment tool.
  • Works with Global Internal Audit (GIA) and IT leadership to gather required documentation from IT to assist with the internal IT audit.
  • Review any findings and recommendations with GIA and IT leadership team to develop a remediation plan.
  • Created monthly Security Tip memo to send via email to all Azura employees and added to Azura company newsletter.
  • Assist internal Legal team with large time-sensitive projects that involve gathering data from many different platforms.
  • Responsible for initiating a data freeze or data wipe of Azura laptops that have been lost or stolen using Absolute (Computrace).
