Secretary duties: Performs confidential secretarial and clerical responsibilities necessary for an efficient and effective school office that assists the Principal or designee and school staff in the performance of responsibilities so that a safe learning environment and effective instruction are provided to ensure that all students meet and exceed the Core Curriculum Content Standards.
Special Ed Aid: Perform responsible human support and paraprofessional work assisting classroom teachers or other professionals to achieve instructional objectives; assisting students with disabilities with achieving established goals and with personal care and mobility.
In School Suspension Supervisor: Monitor students during assigned periods and/or activities for the purpose of ensuring the safety and welfare of students. Respond to inquiries from a variety of sources (e.g. students, teachers, administrators, and/or parents) for the purpose of solving problems, providing information and/or directing to other sources.
Title 1 Aid: Responsible for tutoring students individually or in small groups. Remove students from the classroom to drill them on basic concepts they are behind on. Serve as an assistant to a teacher in her own classroom. Assist students with classwork, monitor students, or take students aside one at a time to go over a particular concept. Administer Dibels assessments at the beginning, middle, and end of academic year.
