Conduct psychoeducational evaluations aimed at cognitive, social-emotional, academic and behavioral functioning of students. Provide oral and written reports with interpretation of test results.
Assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans for students in special education by working in close conjunction with teachers, parents, and administrative staff. Make appropriate recommendations for services and placement in special education programs.
Consult and collaborate with parents, school staff, and outside agency personnel regarding academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and educational concerns.
Provide individual counseling services to students.
Evaluate students for Section 504 eligibility and assist in the development of Section 504 accommodation plans.
Coordinate Preschool Child Study Team. Oversight of referral and intake process, organize preschool assessment team staff meetings, and serve as a district liaison for students transitioning from the Early Start Program.
Provided a full range of professional student services, including group and individual counseling activities and consultation to promote development of academic and social-emotional skills for students in grades K-5.
