Inspired by my own original idea of burying treasures in candles (crystals, charms and figurines), the Treasure Candle was born.
Started in my kitchen, it went from a cottage industry to 3 million in sales within six years. Based in a 15,000 square foot industrial building in North Hollywood in 1994 we shipped our candles to over 6,000 retailers nationwide. We also housed a small retail outlet of our own where we sold mainly seconds.
Product Development was under my guidance and our line was ever-expanding. Over time we offered several dozens of shapes and sizes, each with their own treasure theme and accompanying fable.
I sold the company in 1998.
