Also, my softball coach organized a lighting of luminaries along out city streets to inspire joy and inspiration for the Christmas seasons. Michigan American Legion Auxiliary Girls State June 2003 I attended a week conference my Junior year of high school in a government simulation program for girls to provide "hands on" training in city, county, and state government. This program involved all levels of executive, legislative, and judicial branches of a government. As a attendee, I participated in variety of activities and learned the importance of my role in our government.
