I worked as a Respiratory Therapy Tech from 1979
to 1986 part of my work time was spent at
Pawnee Municipal Hospital and part the last 3
yrs was spent at Good Shepard Medical Center
in Longview Tx. At that time I did pursue my
Respiratory Therapist degree at TJC but did not
Was selected as Outstanding Clinical Student
in 1999 L.P.N. program.
Was awarded a scholarship in the NOC RN program
for an essay written on why I wanted to be a nurse.
As a new L.P.N in 1999 I began my career in Cushing, Oklahoma at the Cushing Regional Hospital.
After 1 year increasing my skills as a staff nurse on the Medical Surgical Unit I then moved to Pawnee, Oklahoma
Home Health Agency so I could work and go to school at night preparing at O.S.U. with basic studies.
I then went to R.N. school and after passing that program I went to work at Stillwater Medical Center
and worked a year learning how to lead in my R.N. role and give exceptional patient care.
I then moved to Hillcrest Medical Center in 2004 and worked a year on a Medical Surgical Unit caring for
acute and chronically ill patients.
In 2005 I began travel nursing and went to California, Texas, Nevada, Arizona and in all parts of the state of
