RN Case Management / Utilization Review nurse duties include: collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team to develop an individualize treatment and discharge plan that enables patients to quickly begin to return to outpatient programs. Provides payers with clinical data in order to justify, advocate for, and arrange for necessary services for the patient while in the hospital as well as discharge. Outreached to clients in the home setting Develop a plan of care with the patient and educating regarding overall health, medications regime and assisting with scheduling follow up appointments and available community resources to help meet their needs.
Medical-Surgical nurse duties included: Pre-op and Post-op care of surgical client, venipuncture, I.V. therapy, central lines, oxygen administration. N/G tubes; and chest tubes. Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans. Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol. Participate in discharge planning. Utilizes time management skills
Neonatal ICU nurse duties included: Care of Level II and Level III Neonates with oscillatory and conventional vents. Oxygen hood, tracheotomy care, arterial and venous lines. Knowledge of cardio respiratory monitors, pulse oxygen monitors; administer medication various routes: oral, intra-muscular, subcutaneous, intravenous, per rectum, sublingual, buecal, opthalmic, intradermal, topical, otic.
