Duties included working at a fast paced and in strenuous conditions. I carefully followed safety precautions while working in damaged buildings and assessed what was repairable versus unrepairable and find ways to dry waterlogged areas: handled equipment cautiously: used and maintained assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors and walls; utilized good interpersonal skills and sensitivity while working for victims of catastrophic losses; used good problem solving and analytical skills, when unexpected problems aroused from the disasters. Carried out general building related services or minor repairs, property servicing/maintenance to buildings/sites when applicable; performed pre and post inspections with customers. Extracted water from flooded structures using commercial extraction equipment, removed damaged or wet building materials such as carpet, pad, baseboards, kitchen or bathroom cabinets, hardwood floors and drywall. When necessary, performed carpet cleaning, content cleaning, mold mitigation, restoration and fire clean-up which included pack outs, move outs and boarding up property. Damaged areas were treated with anti-fungal and antibiotic chemicals to kill infections due to standing waters. I was in charge for moving equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis: I was responsible for responding to work orders/request for carpentry: sheet rock, replacement of walls, floors and/or ceilings and resolving minor plumbing issues.

I was in charge of moving furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis. I was in charge of calling in maintained work orders. Assisted with inventory control and security. I personally managed the update and keeping of all vehicles in a safety manner and other jobs related to the equipment and parts of the various company vehicles. I provided support to junior employees thereby ensuring all policies and regulations were enforced such as OSHA/WISHA rules, health and safety regulations and guidelines, to include that all policies established by the Associate Vice President of Facilities and Planning were adhere to.
