NICU, PICU and Critically Ill Pediatric Advanced Training Program: Currently participating in a (clinical) 4 month specialty training program designed to teach proficiency in all areas of cardiopulmonary care and treatment of the more critically injured and/or ill pediatric patients. The patient population for this training includes neonates and pediatric patients afflicted with Asthma, BPD, Tracheomalacia, Tracheostenosis, Bronchomalacia, CF, SMA and Neuromuscular Disorders, RSV, ARDS, PPHN in Neonates and Pediatrics, Renal-Pulmonary Disorders, Pneumonia, Spinal Cord Disorders, Air Leak Syndrome, Non-Accidental Trauma, Drowning/Near Drowning, Heart/Lung Transplant Recipients, and Sepsis. Specialty treatment options is focused on the use of ECMO (VA/VV), Nitric Oxide, Heliox, High Frequency Oscillation, IPV, Advanced Trach Care, Conventional Ventilation, NIV, Rapid Response/Code Blue.
