As a Registration Clerk I handled registration for Behavioral/ Integrated Behavioral Health providers and assisted with registration for medical providers when needed. My daily duties as a registration clerk include verifying insurance for all patients scheduled to see my providers, verifying all forms for patients are up to date and information on documents reflect information found in patients chart. I notify patients about any discrepancies w/ their insurance and assist them w/ any questions they might have via phone and document outcome of calls in patients chart. I currently attend the monthly PEAS meeting and communicate any updates/new information given to me at the meetings to my team.
