Over 6 years of experience as a dental professional in 3 private practice clinics assisting over 10 dentists and dental specialists. Specialized work in general dentistry, oral surgery, implantology, periodontics, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, craniofacial and TMD disorders, and dental sleep medicine.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
Assisting in surgical procedures (including nitrous, non-IV, and IV sedation cases), continuous monitoring of vital signs, instrument and local anesthetic setup, passing of instruments to the surgeon, maintaining sterile field, retracting soft tissues and evacuation of liquids for surgeon's access to the surgical field, preparation of biologic materials (i.e. hard and soft tissue allografts), cataloging and maintaining inventory of dental implants, IV armamentarium, and other dental materials, sterile instrumentation and room setup for all surgical procedures including gum grafting, osseous surgery, apicoectomy, extractions, bone grafting, implant placement, and frenectomies. Sterilization and breakdown of equipment, room, and instruments as well as operating and performing maintenance on ultrasonic sterilization units and autoclaves.
