I feel empowered by having the opportunity to learn the components of everything I am involved in. I have a track record of training over 100 tellers, writing manuals, developing training, teachings classes, running meetings and performing as a manager. Developed the annual branch business plan for maximum profitability and effectiveness.Implemented annual performance appraisals for all branch staff. I am on the release team for Jack Henry. I write procedures and teach staff (new and existing).
I worked at Meredith Village Savings Bank for 11 years and was empowered and trusted to build and implement all Teller Training. I was also Vertex Administrator, in charge of developing the Teller Manual and keeping the manual up to date, building communication with all of Retail in regards to changes in policies and procedures, taught many courses and developed with the bank wide trainer the Teller Certification Program. I oversaw the Save for America Program and all the volunteers, ran Head Teller Meetings, and most importantly served on committee's to ensure retail had a voice. The MVSB allowed me a diverse set of opportunities from the daily business procedures to the training and instruction of employees.
I really enjoyed participating and completing the MWV Leadership Program. We were introduced to a many leader's in our town's, government and communities. This validated the importance of being out in the community and networking.
I started the Horticulture Program at the Thompson School and realized it was not the career I wanted.
I took many courses through CFT and really enjoyed each and every one. I then came back to my job and performed in-house training's on skills I had learned.
