Seeking out a Clerk 111 position in the Mother Baby Unit at Salem Hospital, to work as a team with my fellow co-workers along with a facility that will enable me to correspond to my employers professionally and go the extra-mile, to offer the highest level of comfort and care to patients and their families. Total of one year of working experience as a certified nursing assistant level 2 within an acute care setting, Current American Heart Association Provider BLS certified. Familiar with medical terminology Hands-on experience with providing; excellent patient cares in a fast paced environment Able to maintain neat and arranged patient room EPIC computer system experience Capability to consistently abide by the predetermined protocols Within the nursing field I believe it is important to show care to the patients and their families, as well as having a passion for what you do in the field. Therefore, as a Certified Nursing Assistant, I believe that we are a vital part of the patient care team along with the nurses and doctors. Showing empathy towards the patient and being able to identify with how they are feeling shows them that you generally care for them. Ethics plays into understanding right from wrong, which guides our actions, showing the patient and family within the care that is provided is important. Service to me is a drive to go above and beyond for the patient and their families. Doing the "extra mile" for them reflects excellent on the team you are working with as well as the facility they are receiving care at. Being responsible, to me is being accountable for your own work, which is very important. Problem Solving is the ability to think of a solution in any situation you are given, even in everyday tasks. The most important among these talents, is team. Working in a healthcare field, I believe it is important work as a team player. You cannot do things alone, having a mutual support system among your co-workers helps build a better work environment, which leads to a positive atmosphere, which in turn leads to a positive experience for the patient while they are receiving care. These six talents tie into, not only the patient care, but the patient experience. No matter what circumstance the patient comes to Salem Hospital for, it may be scary for them at first. But reassuring them that we are here for them and will go above and beyond for them in any way possible, to me is what makes a great employee. I have a drive to help others and that is why I am applying for this Position for a Certified Unit Assistant position in the Mother Baby Unit at Salem Hospital.
