Professional Experience
Recall Secretary, 2015 - 11/2015
Preferred Dental Care City, STATE,

I worked as a Recall Secretary. I would make calls to patients, and schedule them for cleaning appointments. I would also educate them on why it was important to come in for their cleanings. I would answer any questions they have such as, how to get to the office, which doctor they would see, the cost of the appointments, etc. It was also my job to always be polite to the patient and raise their tone if we can. I had to prove to the patients that I care about their oral health, and I want to help them take care of it. I enjoy helping people, so this job was a great experience for me.

Interests
I was in the JROTC program in high school for 3 years. (Softmore - Junior) I was in the acting program at my school for two years. Within the JROTC program I was drill team commander, and I graduated a Technical Seargent. I was able to be apart and lead a team of 9-12, and preform in front of many. It was called a drill team, and not only did we have competitions at our school, but we also went to competitions in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Staten Island, and many more schools. We have many trophies and certificates to prove it. We also did many things for our community in the program such as the "Tunnels for Towers Run" where we run through for those lost in 9/11, we feed the hungry for thanksgiving and Christmas. We walk in the Veteran's Day parade. We give toys and presents to children and families in need during the holidays, we do graffiti clean ups, and pretty much whatever we can to help improve the community and families in need. We also helped our school through volunteer work and fundraisers. I volunteered during parent teacher conference, open houses for program such as ours, and the center for writing program, which I was also involved in. I sold candy, smoothies, hot dogs, chips, and many other things to build money for the program. This money went to new uniforms, shoes, and whatever else we needed. We also used the money to pay for trips so that we can go to competitions. We do fundraisers for school such as parties, scratch cards, food and drinks.
