My name is Chris Noyes and working with the team at LumiGrow is what I wish to do. My career in sales has been a successful one. From irrigation and lighting product and design, to nursery plants, to landscape management and installation, to residential real estate, I have been in the trenches selling for the last 20 years. My approach is simple, show the value of the product, anticipate and support the customers needs, and deliver on my word. Keeping a promise of being there for the clients needs, and building partnerships with others and their business is how I have been successful. In my career, I have managed and been responsible for profit margin, and sales growth for a multitude of products for companies like John Deere, Shemin Landscape Supply, and most recently Coldwell Banker. I am diverse in my capacity to execute market change. To show value in allowing the best system to be the one chosen, even if the initial cost is more. I can easily explain finance options, cost comparisons, energy savings and partnership availabilities that ease the customers mind and budget. I am comfortable entering a customers business and with a hands on approach, earn their respect and better enable myself to understand or troubleshoot any system. I began my sales career in the business of selling irrigation products to installers. I quickly became an expert in the field. Obtaining certifications in pump systems, irrigation design and auditing, as well as visiting and training at vendor facilities across the country. Landscape lighting certifications obtained through Kichler, Vista, and Unique Lighting, made me known to my customers as a market expert in landscape lighting and design. I left to work for a nursery company that was a reseller of plant material and wanted to expand their irrigation and lighting supplies business. This job gave me the power to decide who to target, how to convert them to our company, how to defeat a larger competitor, and how to truly build and run a large book of business. I grew the business at record pace and against incredible odds, racking up numerous sales awards. The small warehouse we started is now a business doing millions in sales at that location. That new location was built because of the growth, myself and a few other sales people accomplished together. At that time I became a new father and the 70+ hour work weeks became a bit much. I once again decided to make a change and took on a small landscape company that wanted me to grow their business. We built it to over 50 employees and with a small team we doubled the sales not once but twice. When the growth had me stuck in an office and growth no longer was encouraged by ownership I decided to enjoy time with my children and obtained my real estate license. My children this fall will both be in school full time, so I am ready for getting back to what I do best. These are all extremely competitive industries, and I have achieved exceeding sales goals at every turn.
