Café – helping out to monitor product quality and staff to adhere to SOP daily in the morning and during opening of the Café
Central Kitchen – helping out to monitor the production daily tasks
Assist and ensure implementation of all aspects of quality assurance and food safety programs.
Oversee daily packing and production house operations related to QA and food safety policies.
Conduct continuing reviews of all GMPs, GAPs, Q.A, and food safety policies to drive
Coordination for the inspection and released of raw material, packaging material and labels.
Co-ordinate /follow up for quarantine record for non-conforming material. Finished Good Release and COA issuing.
- Responsible for Overall Verification Schedule monitoring and testing arrangement.
- Perform monthly plant GMP auditing and 3rd Party auditing whenever is needed.
Pest Control – ensure monthly schedule, monitor PCC performance and verify invoices
Franchisee – updating Franchise Manual, SOP and Forms, inform Franchise Department on any new promotion, visit and audit franchise stores i.e. any discrepancies or any practices that is not according to Laksa Shack will be reported to MD
Audit all Laksa Shack stores and work together with Training and Operations
Training conducted for new franchisee under QA will be topic involved Product and Basic Hygiene/Food Handler's Training, produce test papers for franchisees
CHAMPS & Recognition Specialist (CRS)
Perform comprehensive onsite restaurant evaluations and training to all Pizza Hut stores to help them maintain the highest standards of food safety, guest experience, and brand protection.
In 2005, the restaurants are being evaluated using the e-CER (electronic CHAMPS Review) tool. This CER is designed to help us to run great restaurants though driving 100% CHAMPS execution and to deliver Customer Mania on an ongoing basis
By using EARS method (Explore, Analyze, Response and Make it Stick) to troubleshoot operational issues and to identify root causes
Collaborate with management team to quickly resolve issues in “breakdown” stores providing additional follow up, coaching and support as needed
Assist in problem solving with restaurant managers to help them overcome any food safety and sanitation challenges they encounter.
Display good communication skills while maintaining “customers” relationships. Instruct “customers” on new company standards as well as local and federal regulations. Counsel on the Food Hygiene Regulations as mandated by the Ministry of Health.
Self-directed and motivated while displaying good organizational and time management skills through making weekly and monthly plans to visit stores in multiple states inclusive Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei
• Conduct regular quality audits for Pizza Hut stores and cake kitchen.
• Communicate regularly with local authority and keeping up to date on the Food Act & Regulation and Food Hygiene Regulation to ensure compliances in the local regulations (e.g Food Safety & Quality Department of the Ministry of Health).
• Implemented and trained the Supplier Quality Assurance Program to the suppliers and conduct audit for high risk food and food packaging supplier of PH shops
• Approve new food packaging and food ingredients by reviewing product specification and other quality assurance documentations from suppliers.
• Perform continuous review of suppliers through supplier audits and/or review of supplier quality assurance documents.
• Lead or support in the implementation of new or existing projects of new product developments.
• Provide quality training to individual departments, 3rd party logistic partners and external customers.
• Provide consumer response support/training to ensure smooth customer contact handling.
• Provide coordination and support any situation of Crisis Management and maintain logs.

•Supporting KLCC PH shop team in ensuring the HACCP food safety system compliance.
•Responsible for sticker label review of new and existing company products to ensure local regulation compliances.
