� Understands and can communicate the information contained on the general medical consent, the patient directory preference, the NEHII brochure and the notice of privacy to the patient as required by law or insurance regulation
� Operates various pieces of office equipment, i.e. computer, copier, fax machine, telephone, 2 way radio, document scanner, etc.
� Verify and document eligibility utilizing electronic and telephone insurance eligibility verification systems.
� Collect and process Time of Service Payments. Retrieve and process credit card payments. Prepares for the daily/nightly deposit which includes entering all amounts collected into a spreadsheet,
� Demonstrate follow up activity on accounts including completing accounts in the follow up book. Timely completion of all types of follow up accounts which include calling to obtain work comp claim numbers, and completing any incomplete accounts, etc. Documents in the account on every follow up attempt as to what was done to account or attempted on the account.
� Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
� Communicate with team members to complete accounts and promote teamwork.
� Shares skills and knowledge with coworkers and is active in promoting training of new employees as a mentor.
� Answers the phone within 3 rings
� Accountable for any mistake made within accounts. Completing any account errors sent in a timely fashion.
