My experiences in different lab settings throughout undergrad have influenced and shaped my knowledge pertaining to study design and scientific survey methodology; research principles, methods and applications, and technology; skill in evaluation and analysis, and skill in oral and written communication. Due to my shadowing experiences in hospitals as well as office settings, I feel very comfortable engaging with patients, asking questions, and working alongside others. I have always demonstrated a personable character, but my personal experiences as a teacher's assistant, working with others in many different laboratories, as well as maintaining a job in sales has increased my capabilities and skills in communicating and working effectively with others. I have shadowed the fields of cardiology, pulmonology, and OB/GYN, and have minor experience in interpreting x-rays, as well as EKGs. Most notably, my ability to quickly learn and adjust to the conditions of my environment, whether it be a new lab setting, a different office, or a new group of individuals, is a characteristic I value most.
