I have worked in the restaurant business for most of my job career. I worked as a host for IHOP when I was 14 years old as my first job. My next job was at a restaurant called "Pepperoni's Tavern" where I was a dishwasher. After that I worked as a host/busboy combo at a restaurant called "Twisted Taco". My most recent job and the one I have now is working for the Atlanta Braves on their Public Relations Gameday team. I have acquired many skills, not only in the restaurant world, but now in the PR field as well. I am very personable and friendly and I am a very hard worker.
Whenever the restaurant staff was overwhelmed and needed help getting everything done, I was always the one helping out with the side work even though it was not my job. If a customer ever needed something and there were no servers around I would find out what it was that they needed and get it for them. Whenever I see a fan at a Braves game who looks lost or confused I will approach them and find out if there is anything I can do to help point them in the right direction or to the right person. I even received a gold coin for it. (That is when a fan sees that you have gone above and beyond to help them and they tell the staff about it and give them your name.)
My job for the Braves is to arrive early for the games and set everything up in preparation for them. Once the game has started it is my job to either be working the games in "Scout's Alley", handing out Gameday programs at the gates and to walk around offering help to anyone who needs it and answering questions for fans.
My job was to seat customers and also clean up the tables and bring the dishes to the back after they had finished. I would also go around to tables if the servers were overwhelmed and help them with their work. I received many compliments from customers about being helpful and friendly
My only job was to clean all the dishes and silverware and replace them with the dirty ones
My responsibilities were to make sure the menus and tables were clean and to seat customers in the right spots. I would also help the servers with their side work.
Before coming to UNG I spent my freshman and part of Sophomore year at the University of Mississippi. I plan to transfer into UGA next semester
