I am a highly organized senior level proposal manager/writer with over 10 years working directly on the development and delivery of compliant, winning proposals. I have consistently delivered thorough, persuasive Request for Proposals (RFP, RFI and RFQ) responses including proposals for the largest and most strategically important opportunities. I have multi-layer experience with both large and small commercial interests, local, state and federal government including DOD customers.. I am seeking a position where my proposal development skills, which I believe are non-industry specific, can be used to forward the business goals of my employer.
Co-led the RFP response team for the largest opportunity in my current employer's history. This winning proposal resulted in a contract valued at over $1.5B. The RFP response took over a year and included leading capture team planning, performing initial RFP analysis, outlining the RFP, forming response teams, making work assignments, scheduling, leading kickoff, multiple and multi-level status and review meetings, maintaining revision control, proof reading, editing, formating, printing, compiling and shipping. The physical size of this response was 13 volumes with 27 copies each. Received the Presidents Award, Gold Level for my efforts on this project.
Dedicated to all aspects of responding to RFPs including writing executive summaries, cover letter proposal related customer correspondence such as intention to bid notices, vendor questions and revisions to the RFP. Led all proposal development meetings including capture plan, go/no-go, kickoff, status review and red team review meetings. Performed RFP analysis, assigned and scheduled RFP responsibilities. Used my technical knowledge, documentation and reference library (boilerplate) information to provide first pass compliance responses. Many of my ideas, on process improvements, were implemented a standard practices.
