I am an experienced teacher with more than 20 years in a variety of teaching environments. I homeschooled my own children for 19 years from pre-school through high school. I have been blessed with a child with special needs and learning disabilities, giving me the opportunity to teach with a sensitivity to different learning styles. With a background teaching Children's Church and Sunday School, I have gained experience guiding students in every subject with Christian perspective. As a teacher in a hands-on unit study class environment, I taught Language Arts with a creative approach. Being trained with a classical philosophy, I have taught subjects with the student's development in mind. I especially enjoy engaging students at their level of development to encourage learning and spiritual growth.
