Department of Transportation. The
Western Iowa ITS project consists of two independent areas of deployment, one

system includes 66 traffic condition cameras, 75 microwave detectors, licensed
and unlicensed wireless radios, and 2 super highway advisory radios sites.
Working with Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and South
Dakota departments of transportation, collected, analyzed and recommended communication infrastructure operations procedures in a task report to Congress on existing and
planned communications projects along the I-90 corridor.
Conducted a systems engineering approach to prepare a Concept of Operations, a
project planning report, and a conceptual design process which prepared a Communication Systems
Engineering Analysis and Project Architecture for a hybrid fiber optic cable and licensed and unlicensed equipment, utilizing a variety
of different frequency bands: 900 MHz,
