For the majority of my adult life I have worked in the Non-Profit sector related to human services, ministry and education bi-vocationally. In this capacity I have developed the ability to relate to people from all over the world with varying social, economic and racial histories. I have the unique ability to understand and see patterns in those with whom I counsel, as well as society writ large. This enables me to communicate across a wide network of people. Working with college students for two years and relating to their parents, University Officials, University Alums, community constituents and organizations has given me a broad perspective and experience. My first foray into ministry was as a Youth Ministry Intern at Jersey Baptist Church (now Jersey Church) in Pataskala, OH. I was 17, and fell in love with the ministry. As a child, I recall watching the pastor preach and thinking, "Someday that will be me. I would love to do that". . My childhood was blessed with amazing memories, lessons and experiences. Following this calling, I attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and attained my BS in Pastoral Ministry. As soon as I moved to Tampa, FL, I began work as the Director of Student Ministry at Northwest Community Church. I was also tasked with developing and leading an outreach ministry to young adults and college students. I have been in a prayer and counseling role with Orbis Prayer Ministry Network, a ministry of my current School's, since its inception last year.
Between my adulthood career and my childhood upbringing I feel that I am well rounded and prepared to serve in a large variety of capacities in a significant number of areas. Beyond just these basic experiences I have been involved in sporting goods sales, Real Estate, entrepreneurship, ecommerce, web design, Facebook and Instagram marketing and advertising, digital media, content creation via Facebook and YouTube, photography sales, as well as working along side my dad and brothers renovating houses and as a finish carpenter. My hobbies, of which I have many, have included martial arts, volleyball, weightlifting, reading, crossword puzzles, videography both shooting and editing, hiking, and performing in musicals. I have proven myself to be highly effective at inspiring people both individually and in group settings. I have a friendly and inviting demeanor and am comfortable in almost all situations. I have the unique ability to learn new things in a rapid fashion. I have extensive experience at leading teams, board members, supporters and funders. I have joined with, and on occasion lead, various educational and work-service mission trips through-out the United States. Since 2020, I have been training to minister in a holistic manner. That is to say, an integrated healing model. This approach has given me techniques and strategies for breaking leading recipients through the hard process of dealing with past hurts, traumas, soul wounds, even physical sickness, such that the receive a God encounter and experience freedom. I have found that many ailments, maladjustments, physical disabilities, family disfunction and addictions, can be healed using the integrated healing model. My ministry approach can be summed up in what Jesus called the Greatest Commandment- "You shall love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength, and the second commandment is like it; love your neighbor as yourself." I desire to serve God, share my faith and my life with a collection of people within an organization, company or business that hopes and desires to do good for our community, country and world.
