Conducting background checks on potential adoptive parents Processing applications for a Public Defender and Pro Bono attorneys Working as part of a team to efficiently enter dispositions and cases closer to maintain compliance with timeframes Presenting cases in court before Judges and Child Support Hearing Officers Meeting with Judges and Hearing Officers to advise them of potential issues with cases and offer solutions Conducting home inspections and interviews for the preparation of Custody Investigation Reports, Risk Assessments and Juvenile Predisposition reports Analyzing over goal and case closure reports to improve case management and disposition Attending the Children in Court and Domestic Violence Team Leader meetings Coordinating volunteers under the Children in Court and Juvenile dockets including recruitment training new volunteers, scheduling calendars, drafting orders, obtaining and organizing report, overseeing the Child Placement Review Board and the Juvenile Justice Committees.
