  • Established partnerships with Arkansas Children's Hospital Security Staff and Stephen's Inc. to acquire financial assistance to assist with the purchase of a new firearms/use of force training simulator.
  • Responsible for recommending all future recruits receive the Dale Carnegie Training Program- Breakthrough Communications and Human Relations during the recruit training process. LRPD was the first police academy in the world to utilize such a course.
  • Tasked with completing four (4) Buffer Zone Protection Plans in coordination with the Department of Homeland Security that allowed the department to receive government funds for the purchase of equipment for the department, as well as, the facilities that were identified for the plans.
  • Commander for the largest Patrol Division (50 sq. miles and population of over 100,000). Within one year of assuming command, experienced a 16% decrease in overall crime.
