Being a hands on operation manager. I was in charge of anywheres between 20 to 25 associates for the 3 shifts a 24/7 operation of a 7 multi hearth incinerator in the wastewater industries of northeast ( new england) district .

I planned and implemented a 2 shift rotation with 3rd shift always staying the same. With the daily changing of operation because of the different waste water sludge that unloaded 24 hours. One licensed operator would do hourly rounds recording all working equipment and hourly numbers of mechanical usages , gases and pollutants omitted for rhode Islands EPA and the City of woonsocket. While the 2nd licensed operator/mechanic would have work order's on repairs an preventive maintenance and daily cleaning also helping the incase of emergency's that occur sometimes.

On top of my daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for the city of woonsocket,providence and the state of Rhode Island. i also worked on and helped build and refabricate equipment that was needed for the operations of our company. With weekly monthly meeting on work progression and how to improve our work environment.

Also very importantly i would set up schedules every 6 month with woonsocket fire and police department for safety on fire prevention , CPR training, scott air pack usage, fire escape plans, fire extinguishers incase of an emergency. following up with phone call protocol .

• Completed root cause analysis, logged faults and prepared system reports.
• Performed troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of piston pumps, trash pumps, screw material movers all motors including 3phase, fix or repaired gear boxes , coveyer belts, rollers and bearings , knowledge of fixing or repairing commercial gas valves regulators, eye sensors fixing burner boxes. Removal and refactoring and replacing all mechanical arms in incinerator weighing around 1 ton. cleaning repairing scrubber systems, venturi systems, electrostatic precipitator spay heads nozzles and arms. So many more pieces that make up a company like this. to many to mention. i was also licensed fork lift and mechanical lull operator. Also knowledgeable on lock out tag out procedures
• I was in charge of all plumbing replacing pipes from 3/4 inch to 12 inch schd80 ,cast iron, steel pipe and flanges, knife valves , butterfly valves.
• Running 2 12ft belt presses , 4 centrifuges and the use of a polymer system.
• While working there i got a great deal of knowledge of how a wastewater plant operates from the bar racks to holding tanks aeration tanks , clarifying tanks secondary tanks and many other things. i worked with the city helping them repair equipment.
• Coordinated installation of systems, machinery and components.
• Frequently diagnosed mechanical problems and determined how to correct issues.
• Recommended design modifications to eliminate [Type] machine and system malfunctions.
