Served as an Instructor for the institutional training of 142 lesson plans to Initial Entry Training, MOS-Transition, Basic Officer Leaders Course and Warrant Officer Basic Course Soldiers; responsible for the safe and quality execution of training; assists in the review of the 14J program of Instruction; responsible for the mission readiness of equipment valued in excess of $5,000,000; on a daily basis was responsible for the health, welfare, training and accountability of 18 Initial Entry Training Soldiers which places emphasis on Army Warrior Tasks and Battle Drill Training.
This course focuses on leadership and technical skills required to prepare Soldiers selected for promotion to staff sergeant to effectively lead squad/platoon size units. The ALC consists of a both a 90-day highly facilitated web-based common core program and a branch-specific resident phase designed for the Soldiers military occupation specialty.
The resident phases are approximately eight weeks in length with high-density military occupational specialties (MOS).
