I was deployed to Afghanistan as a Physical Therapy Technician. Myself and my Physical Therapist would go to their Military Medical Hospital, and we would train the Afghan PT Techs and Therapist on modern Physical Therapy procedures and treatment plans. We would have weekly training sessions and they would be taught basic Physical Therapy exams, treatments and procedures. Also, I would follow around the technicians and see how they treated the patients and would help and show better methods of patient care.
