I am very excited to be able to apply for a position with your Company and look forward to the chance to interview in person for the position. My background provides me with many skills and assets that will assist me in excelling in the position. *I was born in New York City and raised in New York and Colombia, South America, which allowed me the opportunity to become fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in both Spanish and English. After Graduating from High School in New York, I attend Teft Business College and earned the honor of being on the Dean's list due to my grades and then lived in New Mexico prior to settling in Michigan for the last twenty-years. Living in various locations have provided me the opportunity to gain a greater knowledge and understanding of different lifestyles and cultures. *In my work through different companies I have had the opportunity for a wealth of personal growth and the opportunity to work in various size businesses ranging from the office manager of a two-realtor real estate office to a shift manager for an organization including my fortune to work with customers, and people with disabilities and/or homeless on a personal level. Highlighting one of these opportunities, was to work at Cash and Go in Battle Creek where I learned the business in detail and enjoyed the opportunity to help those customers who needed a cash advance to get through a rough financial time. I also got to educate the public on their credit and the up and down side of using services such as Cash-N-Go. I also went with the manager out to deliver notices to clients and review client accounts to ensure the money is in the account prior to cashing the clients check. I also learned the art of talking to customers to be able communicate with them in a manner that would keep them calm and allow me to provide them the information they required to produce an informed decision about using the service. *I also have strong proficiencies in computer application and have worked in a fast-paced computer oriented position as a cashier at the drive-thru window at McDonalds which requires navigating a computer system to take the customer's order at a fast-accurate pace to ensure profitability for McDonald's and an exceptional experience at the drive-thru through my accuracy, computer skills, and friendly customer service. *When you review my life experience with my work experience you can see that I am an ideal candidate for the position with your company, with my skills and abilities gathered through-out my life. *Please see the accompanying resume for details of my experience and education.
