about the patient, including, but not limited to, Age, Sex, Address,
Drug Allergies, Insurance Information ( applicable)and any other information
necessary for the accurate filling of the prescription.
Entering the customer information, and the Prescription Information, and the
Insurance Information, into the computer, to enable the proper filling of the
Printing Prescription Label (s) to further that aspect of filling the Prescription.
Obtaining the drug (s), counting or pouring the prescription ingredient to
fulfill that aspect of the "filling process".
Labelling the correct container applicable to the "filling process", then thoroughly
checking all aspects of the "filling process", Patient Name, Instructions on how to
ingest or apply the drug, applying accessory labels, if applicable, then reviewing
the labelling with the customer, (oral or external use), (How Often to Take or Apply), and any special instructions pertaining to the use of the drug.
Asking the customer if there are any questions pertaining to the prescription.
Finalizing the process by either giving the product to cashier or technician or
completing it myself.
