At Alltek I am an IT Technician. My usual day can consist of many things. I get new service calls hourly and depending on the issue I can either drive to the client's site or take care of the issue remotely. Daily I am at client's site talking to all types of people. We generally go straight to the point of contact at each site, which is in most cases the manager or owner. Over time this has given me great experience in social interaction with all different types of people at different levels.
As a wellness coach I give tips to many of the individuals who regularly work out. I teach the youth certification class which allows 13-17 year old individuals to use the equipment. I give "PEP" sessions to clients which consists of getting to know the individual, learning their fitness history and goals, measuring their height, weight, Body fat % and BMI. Then lastlyy giving them 3 separate sessions: First, cardio training, then resistance training, and lastly I give a session with a combination of both cardio and resistance training.
Giving these PEP sessions has given me experience with a wide variety of clients. I genuinely enjoy meeting different people with different obstacles and help them meet their goals.
