  • Ceridian HRIS system 3.5 years utilized for internal operations of a 64k employee company prior to spinning Alltel off to Fidelity Information Services, reduced to 46k; passed payroll files to Ceridian for check execution and taxation.
  • Remainder of all other aspects of HR, Benefits, Payroll and Finance were handled internally.
  • Continual weekly conversion of data and related troubleshooting due to payroll system being a mainframe and the GUI software running on Windows - considerable mapping of fields and data clean up.
  • Ceridian has an excellent schema and all tables have a mapped primary key to all other tables.
  • Made sql ad hoc queries so much easier to develop.
  • Ceridian had an sql entry box where raw sql queries could be written in a text editor and pasted directly for data extraction as well as using an ODBC connection to pull data, it was also accompanied with Crystal Reports for extraction or end user report creation.
