Accountable for regular rate of pay calculations Assist clients in transitioning to a PEO environment Knowledgeable in Federal, multi State and local payroll laws and guidelines Consult on streamlining payroll process and procedures for client Train clients on Web product for payroll and reporting needs First point of contact for both client and their employees Act as payroll subject matter expert for On-Boarding process for new clients.
Assist with system implementation projects, including pay rules definition, system configuration, data conversion/clean-up, testing, parallel processing and transition to go live status.
Assess client payroll practices and define areas for improvement including improved system utilization, user training needs, and/or process reengineering.
Provide day-to-day functional and payroll management support to achieve accurate payroll results where client environment dictates (including outsourced arrangements), oversee client payroll administrative staff.
Define and document proper procedures for payroll processing.
Perform tax filing, general ledger and other payroll related reconciliation tasks.
Create reports using the client's payroll software Ceridian, ADP or UltiPro HRMS/Payroll, Excel, Access or other Microsoft products Provide system and functional support including UltiPro HRMS/Payroll, Ceridian Payroll Products, Self Service and Time & Labor Management, CyberShift.
