As a servant leader I have spent my entire professional life focused on the growth and well being of others. This has been exhibited in multiple faith vocations from local church pastor and staff member to college professor. The desire to serve and support those in transition, specifically the most marginalized, is my deepest calling and where my gifts seem to meet the world's needs.
My most recent experiences have concentrated on creative, inspiring teaching and assisting churches and communities in transition. Serving congregations on their journeys of change, growth and hospitality to recreate relationships with their transforming surrounding community has become my passion.
Pastor of city congregation where I have worked to resolve internal and neighborhood conflict, to rebuild trusting relationships with the community and begin a new congregation.
As a full-time faculty and campus leader I work in the Religion Department teaching church leadership courses such as Christian Education, Transformational Leadership, Introduction to Worship, New and Old Testament, Environmental and Social Justice as well as Missions and Service.
As Director of the Cornerstone Program for first year students, I assist with the transition from High School to College and the journey to a major field of study and vocational choice.
As an international teaching faculty I have experience leading students and alumni in short and long term immersion courses in Costa Rica, The Czech Republic, Mexico, El Salvador and numerous US locations.
