I am married to my wife Angie of 19 years and we have two boys Brayden 11 years and Avery 9 years old. I enjoy spending time taking them to their baseball/basketball practices and games. I also enjoy cinematography, I was a co-owner/founder of Affinity Media Productions for 7 years, until I sold my part of the business to the other owner. I still am passionate about making movies, so today I still produce films for our church. About five years ago I helped start NorthGate Assembly Church where I serve as the Associate Pastor of Audio/visual ministry. I have played the guitar since 1994 and have written 6 songs, one of which has a copyright.
I have enjoyed being a EMT-I/Paramedic for the past 15 years. It has been rewarding to utilize the skill and knowledge that was taught to me many years ago. I have worked beside some of the best medics in the industry and have learned so much during my time on the ambulance. I have also had the ability to become a EMS preceptor, I always looked forward to the times when we have students or new hires to ride a long with and train. I love to help them learn the knowledge and the technical skills they need to succeed in emergency services. About 5 years ago I was hired as an analyst to work on our EHR system at the South Georgia Medical System. The system we used was called Horizon by McKesson and when I started we were in the process of switching over to their newest product called Paragon. The hospital decided to not go with Paragon and looked for other software opportunities. The hospital decided to go with Epic, that is when I received my Epic ASAP Analyst/Principal Trainer certification. I have been working to build, train, and maintain our Epic EHR system now for 3 years.
