From the year 2004 until the year 2007 I worked as a painter at IMT and at American Crane. At IMT I did everything from prepping and washing, to priming and painting, to touch up and re-work. In the year 2005 I was also the lead man of the paint line at IMT.
At IMT and American Crane, I was put completely in charge of all tasks that needed to be completed by the paint department. I divided up the tasks amongst coworkers, as well as making sure everyone stayed on task. At both Menards and Walmart, I was put into leadership positions in which I had to keep everyone on task, get the job done quickly and efficiently, as well as solve any problems which would arise.
I learned to paint cranes and truck bodies. I was taught all aspects of the preparation process, the painting process, and the finishing process. I excelled at painting, and was then promoted to lead man of the paint line.
I was in charge of receiving, and ran forklifts to unload all of the trucks that we received.
I excelled at all of my job responsibilities, and was promoted to being a Customer Service Manager. In this job, it was my responsibility to send people to break, keep everyone motivated, solve any problems that arise with either employees or the customer, and to keep everything running efficiently.
