Fedex Cross Border Indianapolis, IN,

Upon graduating law school and passing the bar exam, I formed Claire Law, P.A. and began practicing law. I was fortunate to have an abundance of opportunities during law school and immediately thereafter, to accumulate experience in multiple practice areas, including, family law, personal injury law, and criminal law. Once licensed, my practice focused on domestic relations cases, including divorce, custody, child support, adoption and DHS cases. These cases represented approximately 50% of my practice. The remainder of my time was spent primarily on criminal and personal injury law. My oldest daughter opened a restaurant in February 2018, with planning and design beginning in early 2017. As an experienced business owner, my daughter relied heavily on my assistance during the planning and initial months of operation

  • Offered each customer top-notch, personal service and polite support to boost sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Closed sales by overcoming objections, asking for sales, negotiating price and completing purchase contracts.

Owner, 08/1996 - 07/2007
Fedex Cross Border Fort Worth, TX,

In 1996 I founded Claire & Company, a real estate development firm focused on building upper middle class residential projects. I managed day-to-day business operations, including accounting, finance, HR, Jessicaeting and public relations. I performed Jessicaet evaluations and researched available parcels in an effort to identify the best opportunity to design and develop the most successful project. I then assembled a team of professionals to the design and construction the project. Over time I added invaluable team members to manage and/or undertake important design and construction responsibilities associated with the each project. Eventually other partner companies were formed to:

a. landscape and maintain those landscape areas during the sales phase continuing through transition to the Property Owners Association.

b. close the transaction and issuing title insurance for all lots sold

c. manage the Property Owners Association during the sales phase continuing through transition to the new lot owners

Claire & Company, and it partner companies, grew to over 50 employees. While the first project constructed included only eight single family home-sites, the last project permitted included over 950 home-sites, 300,000 square feet of commercial space and a magnet elementary school. The mortgage and and associated financial crisis in 2007, coupled with a substantially over-built Jessicaet, resulted in the decision to cease operations.
