Agets Field Service Techinician
Subcontracted to Hamilton Standard, Service Engineering, Windsor Locks
Provided on site installation, troubleshooting and repair of the Pratt & Whitney automated ground engine test stand (AGETS), under contract with the U.S. air Force. AGETS is used to automatically trim and or fault isolate the Pratt & Whitney F100-100 and F100-200 jet engines used in the F15 and F16 Air Force fighter jets. Traveled to various Air Force nd Air National Guard bases around the world to install a new AGETS unit and interface with existing Air Force test equipment, then check calibration of both with Air Force PMEL team. In case of trouble call, to fault isolate either the AGETS unit, Air Force test equipment, or the engine to determine where problems exist and then effect repairs. Utilize service manuals, schematics, wire lists, technical drawings, and peripheral test equipment. Also to familiarize Air Force personnel with technical data, preventive maintenance operation and fault evaluation/isolation procedures.

Supervise and assist up to ten junior personnel in testing, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of E2-C VAST, RADCOM,and CAT IIID Weapon Replaceable Assemblies (WRA's).
Conduct final inspections on all maintenance actions. Utilize schematics, computer program analysis, and peripheral test equipment in fault detection, isolation, and maintenance of avionic systems and equipment.
