Project 1:
 Solution Delivery Life cycle in Technology Transformation
Duration: Sep'13 - till date

  • Managing a team of 10 members including 5 AXP Employees and 5 contractors
  • CA Clarity for the project – Project creation, Financial forecast update, effort management , issues/risks update (if any) etc.,
  • Report Bi-weekly status of the project to Director and VP
  • Conduct Weekly Team Meeting to discuss on the progress of the team
  • Planning, Tracking and Executing the Major and Minor releases planned for the quarter.
  • Interacting with other Business unit to make sure dependencies are understood and delivered when needed.

This is current project and the objective of this project is to deliver Process (for both Waterfall and Agile) model that all American Express Technology projects will adhere to. Some of the mandate processes are integrated with the tool Clarity and SharePoint. Audit and compliance check is also done on the projects picked up randomly.  Rally tool is used to maintain all the Features, User stories and the release plan for the features.  Release plan will be done at the end of every quarter.

Project 2: IT Service Management (Knowledge and Incident Management)
Duration: 8 Months (Jan'13 – Aug'13)

  • End to End project management for Knowledge & Incident Management Deliverables.
  • Successfully delivered KM & IM enhancement as per schedule.           
  • Project planning. Provide project level status to PMO and the Director. ·          
  • Resolve conflicts that could arise during project execution.
  • Constant interaction with cross-functional teams like SST (tools team), Training and Communication & UAT team.
  • Have Weekly core team-meeting to sync-up on the project releases and other open items. 
  • Co-ordinate/Interact with other team to resolve the dependencies for the release·

This project was executed in Agile Methodology. User stories were defined by the Product owner; they are prioritized as per business need and discussed in Release planning. The project was executed in four sprints with 4 weeks on each sprint.

Project 3: Digital Offer Ecosystem (DOE).
Duration: 3 Months (Nov '12 – Jan '13).

  • Cross-Functional team interactions to understand their current system's pain points.
  • Provide program level status to Director indicating the key achievements, milestone and risks.
  • Resolve any operational issues/conflicts. Helped team to prepare the AS-IS assessment.
  • Presented the assessment to Client Director and VP.
  • Made sure assessment addresses all the key pain points provided by the different teams and also the recommendation for the team to overcome the pain points.
