I completed many business critical projects for the Operations Director when needed. I completed an NVQ Level 2 in Business administration in this position.
In this role I was the central administrator for the business development and marketing team, carrying out many administrative duties My role was very customer focused, providing a central support service to all teams in the organisation and providing ongoing support for all internal and external customers.
In this job my main focus was to bring new customers into the business, and hitting the targets for this. I ensured that all the marketing campaigns were thoroughly planned so that they ran smoothly and efficiently. This required a lot of orangization and planning.
I also carried out each campaign, this entailed calling businesses from a large database of thousands of clients to see if they were interested in the services we provided (education courses) and then liaising with all the teams throughout their journey with the organisation to ensure that they were getting everything they needed and expected. I provided reports at the end of each campaign to monitor the success and to evaluate what went well and what we would need to improve on.
I also went to a lot of events as face of the company, to talk about our services and to create interest, so i planned and coordinated materials and plans for these events as well as all the meetings leading up to these events.
Within this role I completed my level 3 certificate in Business Administration.
During the time before I moved to America I worked with an agency. This entailed working in many different companies for short periods of time. This was extremely interesting as I learnt many different tasks and experienced work in many different work environments.
Some of the companies i worked for are a Mercedes dealership, a printing company, a packaging company, an online retail store, a fire supply company.
A lot of the different tasks I these roles entailed were: Answered and managed incoming and outgoing calls while recording accurate messages. Opened and properly distributed incoming mail. Greeted numerous visitors, vendors and interview candidates. Ensuring they all signed in the visitors book for fire safety reasons. Helped distribute employee notices and mail around the office. Maintained a clean reception area, including lounge and associated areas. Made Travel and accommodation arrangements. Data entry. Welcomed all visitors and directed them to the correct employee or office.
