I started with Amazon at PHL6 in Carlisle PA., Recognized for my ambition I was made an
Ambassador for Amazon while still employed as a temporary through SMX in 2011. In January of 2012 transferred
to PHL5 in Lewisberry where I became a PIT trainer. In
2013 I was promoted to Seasonal Trainer, then to PIT Facilitator. In 2014 I was promoted to Process Assistant in Outbound where I was responsible for all outgoing loads from PHL5
on my particular shift, communication and execution of process changes, loss
prevention, associate engagement, leadership development, process improvement,
safety, quality, productivity in compliance Amazon benchmark standards. In the fall of 2016 I transferred positions to the Procurement team as the Non Inventory Receiver. My responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform accurate daily counts on all corrugate and PAC supplies,Operate PIT Equipment (Forklift/Reach Truck/Walkie)Off load, store, inspect, and verify receipt of Non-Inventory products against bill of lading and purchase order,Virtually transfer or receive items in Coupa/Oracle and notify POA of any discrepancies, Organize and maintain all Non-Inventory items through the use of 5S techniques,Accurately enter weekly/month end cycle counts into Oracle,Perform yard walks as needed to verify trailers in the yard,Identify root cause on on-hold invoices and take the necessary action to resolve holds,Train seasonal receivers and back ups to perform Non-Inventory Receiver duties. I have also developed and currently manage the storage and removal of all pallets at PHL5. I have worked to continually improve safe cost effective methods to achieve maximum efficiency in the pallet sorting and removal process. I am directly responsible for over a $150,000.00 savings from 2016 to 2017.
