Planned and executed real-time mission control for all ISS flight dynamics including debris avoidance, rendezvous and docking for visiting vehicles, and station-keeping.

  • Specialized in satellite breakup contingency planning; created and ground-tested a protection attitude and escape plan for stranded astronauts; wrote and implemented associated satellite breakup Flight Rules.
  • Discovered a gap in debris-avoidance capability during Shuttle undocking and presented an analysis incorporating corrective action, later adopted by the Shuttle team, that halted risk exposure.
  • Managed living documentation of flight dynamic agreements between NASA and the Russian Space Agency.
  • Participated as a NASA delegate during Columbia's Search and Recovery efforts in Corsicana, TX.
