My job responsibilities as a typist have included answering and quickly redirecting calls where necessary, answering and managing incoming and outgoing calls while recording accurate messages, planning and coordinating materials for staff meetings three days a week, ordering office supplies, managing office supplies, helping to distribute employee notices and mail around the office, interacting with visitors and directing them to the correct employee or office, and obtaining signatures for financial documents and internal and external invoices. After the office cashier leaves for the day, I am also responsible for doing receipts for customers purchasing vehicles and customers that have gotten service work done and are picking up their vehicles after the service department has closed for the night.
