Upon completion of Marine Corps Basic training (13 weeks) and Marine Combat Training (4 weeks) I was sent to Military Police School. While at military police school I learned about small arms, defensive tactics, how to write reports/tickets, felony traffic stops, escalation and de-escalation of force, and communication skills. After graduating Military Police training I was sent to MCB Quantico to fill the role as a police officer and leader of Marines. During my time at Quantico I had multiple drug cases, DUI's, and traffic cases. I also served a vital role in many large scale, events such as: Modern Day Marine (2013 and 2014), General Officer Symposium (2013 and 2014), Officer Candidate School Graduations (2013-2015), and Wounded Warrior Games (2015). At these even events I was in charge of making sure the events ran smoothly, as well as keeping all those in participation safe.
When I was hired on with Homesite Services I was hired to do work around the shop such as cutting closet shelving and stocking shelves. Shortly after being hired I became a vital employee to the companies success. I was cutting and polishing mirror, closet shelving, making frames, loading the trucks, delivering loads, and in the field installing.
I started my time at Giant and a bagger and cashier, and eventually became second in charge of the produce department. After working produce I became in charge of a new customer service department, where I prepared food and offered samples for customers. When that department was dis-banned I was placed in the back where I unloaded the trucks and stocked items on the shelves, and from there moved to the dairy section. During my time at Giant I constantly interacted with multiple customers, and put in place programs to help the store grow in the customer base.
In April of 2015 I opened my own small business, Hot Brass Firearms Training. I strive to consistently instruct in a professional manner and make my students better shooters as well as more safety conscious when around firearms. I teach multiple classes from kids safety classes to the more advanced combat shotgun and pistol classes. I have been certified to instruct by the National Rifle Association in pistol, rifle and refuse to be victim, on top of being a RSO (Range Safety Officer). I have been able to teach conceal carry classes to individuals looking to learn about guns and how to protect themselves, as well as taking people to range for one on one training to make them better shooters and more proficient.
