Medical Distributor Resume Example

I have extensive experience in educational leadership and many years working as a medical distributor and sales representative. Over the last six years, I have been a distributor and distributor representative for OR/surgical products, medical devices, and applications in the clinical setting while working with a plethora of surgeons and physicians ranging from general, orthopedic and pain management to the specialty areas of urology, cardio-vascular, and gynecology.

My previous educational experience, which included leading and managing large faculties as well as developing, structuring and conducting numerous and extensive training seminars and inservices, has served me well in many capacities in my transition to the medical and healthcare field.

As a distributor, my primary focus is to represent new, innovative and revolutionary products that will have a major and a successful impact on the medical community. Hence, two products that I currently carry (J-Plasma and real-time nerve monitoring for urology and gynecology) are both unique and "one-of-a-kind" products. (Note: to date, our distributorship is the top producer in the country for Bovie Medical's J-Plasma).

I have extensive contacts with many surgeons and hospital personnel that have enabled me to be successful in my medical distributorship endeavors. Currently, I am working with 8 hospitals in Las Vegas, 2 in Reno, 2 in Salt Lake, and 1 each in Lake Havasu, Flagstaff and Bullhead City, Arizona. In addition, I have representative contacts in other cities such as Portland, Albuquerque, Phoenix and Los Angeles.
