As the Referral Coordinator I was responsible for working with families and insurance companies to get procedures, specialty exams and medications authorized.
I was responsible to get initial appointments set up with specialist and see that referrals were kept up to date.
As the Safety Specialist it was my responsibility to see that the clinic was in compliance with safety guidelines and procedures that influenced not only the safety of the staff but also the patients and their families.
