I am a hardworking auto mechanic who has been around cars for around eight years. Working as an actual mechanic for three and a half to four years. I am striving for excellence focused on quality of repairs performed, and customer satisfaction. I am a very quick learner striving to be the best that I can be.
Worked on all makes and models doing anything from preventative maintenance to engine replacements. Followed checklists to verify that all important parts were examined. Replaced spark plugs and wires, water pumps, intake gaskets. Repaired and replaced belts, hoses and steering systems. Rebuilt and repaired engines. Removed and replaced tires, shocks, struts and brakes. Installed timing gears and timing belts.
Started working at Camp Chevrolet as a Lube tech, changing oil, rotating tires, replacing tires, fluid exchanges, belts, and air filters. After working there for a little over a year I was promoted to a mechanic doing a lot of light duty work and warranty repairs.
My daily job duties included meeting and greeting customers as they came to the shop for various reasons such as: filling propane tanks, filling gas into vehicles, inputing vehicle and customer information into computer for vehicle repairs. Helped both mechanics with various repairs, performed oil changes, tire repairs and rotations, and spark plug replacement.
Classwork consisted of anything from basic engines to suspension to brakes to electrical to engine performance.
